Microcrystalline glass is a special type of material that combines the dual properties of both glass and ceramics. It not only achieves excellent wettability between glass and metal but also meets the stringent requirements of high strength and elevated operating temperatures for electrical components. Specifically, the glassy phase within the microcrystalline glass ensures superior wettability, while the fine crystalline structures embedded in the material provide the necessary high strength and resistance to elevated temperatures.
